Join the Green Lantern corps and fly in a jet fighter

The Green Lantern UK Facebook page is offering fans a very special opportunity to win the chance to fly a fighter jet in Paris. The winner will have to conquer their fears on a four-night high-flying tour as a jet fighter in training!

On this dream trip to the world famous city of lights the lucky winner will explore the sights and sounds of Paris before joining forces with the pilots at Pontoise Air Base where they will be introduced to the mighty 39 Albatros jet fighter trainer.

The airmen and women have years of flying experience and carry full military and civilian credentials in the French Air Force and are ready to take friendly operatives on an exclusive Green Lantern mission.

The on-board cockpit will be rolling as the jet infiltrates French airspace for a high-octane flight at speeds of up to 5Gs!

This truly out of this world experience will be followed by a post-flight diploma ceremony and a celebratory glass of champagne!

To be in with a chance of winning this stunning experience, fans must complete 6 tasks on the UK Facebook page to secure their very own sector of the Green Lantern universe and be entered into the prize draw.

‘JOIN THE CORPS’ pulls together all aspects of Green Lantern online marketing campaign including the Boot Camp flash game (www.greenlanternbootcamp.com) and the Green Lantern Super Hero quiz.
In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan.

Hal is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris (Blake Lively), if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax…he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.
