With Morgan Spurlock best known for making hard-hitting documentaries such as Super Size Me, now he is making, more conventional, feature films. Described as a "docudrama" with a "3D concert" bolted on. So in other words we have something like a mix of Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience with some footage from The X Factor to fill it out to 90 minutes!

ONE DIRECTION: THIS IS US will be part docudrama and part 3-D concert movie, telling the story of the five members' origins -- how they were put together by Simon Cowell after they all competed on The X-Factor (in the UK), meet their families, explore their dreams, and delve into what their meteoric rise to fame feels like. The movie will also be a bit of a love letter to One Direction’s loyal fan base.

One Direction – Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson – were discovered by Simon Cowell on the U.K.'s "The X Factor" in 2010. The band quickly gained a following to become one of the competition's all-time most popular acts, finishing in the final three and garnering a gigantic and loyal fanbase along the way. In March 2012, One Direction's debut album, "Up All Night", made U.S. history, as it was the first time a U.K. group's debut album entered the U.S. Billboard 200 chart at No. 1. The band has sold over 29 million records worldwide. In November 2012, One Direction released their sophomore album, "Take Me Home", which includes the No. 1 single, "Live While We’re Young", and are currently on a sold-out world tour.

12 In A Box DVD Release Short Review

This is a very entertaining film and I have given it 3.5 stars.

12 In A Box is a classic British farce in every sense of the word. 

The film tells the story of twelve individuals of varying ages and social backgrounds, linked only by the fact that they attended the same high school. Brought together to attend a reunion, upon arrival they discover that they will each receive a check for one million pounds, provided they can spend ninety six hours in the mansion house together, with no-one leaving the grounds at any point. Let the fun commence!

End Of Watch DVD and Blu-ray Release Short Review

This is an excellent film, 4.5 stars for this gritty, fast paced thriller.

End Of Watch is a documentary style film, written and directed by David Ayer (Training Day, The Fast and the Furious).

The film tells the story of two cops, partners and friends, who patrol the streets of Los Angeles together. We follow them around through their daily routines, occasionally being thrown right into the middle of the action with no warning (much as you might imagine it would actually feel if you were out on the streets).

With Matt Damon wearing what looks like a cut down Steadicam rig welded to his body, the amazing first trailer has hit the internet. Neill Blomkamp's second feature length film is even better than his first, District 9.

Set 100 years in the future, inhabitants of earth are trying to get to the clean and corruption free planet of Elysium.

Fast & Furious 6 gets a new trailer

An amazing new tailer, actually an "extended TV spot", has just exploded into my inbox. It has everything you expect from this franchise. Pretty cards, not bad looking girls, crummy dialogue and huge explosions. For the latter just wait until the end!

Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson lead the returning cast of all-stars as the global blockbuster franchise built on speed races to its next continent in Fast & Furious 6. Reuniting for their most high-stakes adventure yet, fan favourites Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and Elsa Pataky are joined by badass series newcomers Luke Evans and Gina Carano.

Since Dom (Diesel) and Brian’s (Walker) Rio heist toppled a kingpin’s empire and left their crew with $100 million, our heroes have scattered across the globe.  But their inability to return home and living forever on the run has left their lives incomplete. 

Meanwhile, Hobbs (Johnson) has been tracking an organisation of lethally skilled mercenary drivers across 12 countries, whose mastermind (Evans) is aided by a ruthless second-in-command revealed to be the love Dom thought was dead, Letty (Rodriguez). The only way to stop the criminal outfit is to outmatch them at street level, so Hobbs asks Dom to assemble his elite team in London. Payment? Full pardons for all of them so they can return home and make their families whole again.

Building on the worldwide blockbuster success of Fast Five and taking the action, stunts and narrative to even greater heights, Fast & Furious 6 sees director Justin Lin back behind the camera for the fourth time. He is
supported by longtime producers Neal H. Moritz and Vin Diesel, who welcome producer Clayton Townsend back to the series.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected journey DVD Short Review

If only, (Sighs Deeply) I could give this 1000 out of 5, I would.

5 Star film all the way.

Peter Jackson (lord of the Rings trilogy) is the god of making epics and this first episode of the Hobbit (J.R.R. Tolkien) is just showing the others how it is done.
