Mausam marks the debut of Shahid Kapoor’s father and veteran actor Pankaj Kapoor as a director. Shahid Kapoor plays an Air Force Pilot in the film. Also he happens to be the first actor, not just in India, but in the world to fly a real F 16 plane for this film. Mausam is a love story that traces the life of the protagonist over the years. The film has been shot in different countries including Spain, Italy, UK, Austria and India.
