The Lucky One gets even more images

Warner Bros has just released a new set of images as well as a 60 second TV spot.

U.S. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault (Zac Efron) returns from his third tour of duty in Iraq, with the one thing he credits with keeping him alive - a photograph he found of a woman he doesn’t even know. Learning her name is Beth (Taylor Schilling) and where she lives, he shows up at her door, and ends up taking a job at her family-run local kennel. Despite her initial mistrust and the complications in her life, a romance develops between them, giving Logan hope that Beth could be much more than his good luck charm.

Warner Bros. has just sent over a load of new images for Zac Efron’s new film The Lucky One. Not only that we have been told that you can have a chance of winning a pair of tickets to the UK premiere in April. All you need to do for that is to go to the film's facebook page

Zac Efron returns to the UK in April 2012

Warner Bros is delighted to announce the imminent arrival of ZAC EFRON to the UK in April for the British premiere of his new movie THE LUCKY ONE which will be released 4 May. When THE LUCKY ONE UK Facebook page reaches 1,000 likes Warner Bros. will launch a competition for a fan to win a pair of tickets to the UK premiere.

The star-studded event, which is set to take place in London will also welcome the arrival of Nicholas Sparks, author of the critically-acclaimed novel upon which the movie is based, the film’s award-winning director Scott Hicks and Zac’s co-star Taylor Schilling (upcoming Argo).

Directed by Academy Award-nominated Scott Hicks (Shine) and based on the bestselling novel of the same name, this romantic tale about fate and destiny, sees Zac Efron play the part of Logan Thibault, a former U.S. Marine Sergeant who returns from his third tour of duty in Iraq, with the one thing he credits with keeping him alive—a photograph he found of a woman he doesn’t even know. Learning her name is Beth (Schilling) and where she lives, he shows up at her door. Are you The Lucky One?

Warner Bros. has just sent over a poster, some images and a, sort of, trailer. It's more a mix of classic trailer and a featurette. Let's call it a "trailette"!

It's been a while since a film about Iraqistan came out. This one is a "love of sorts" story. Starting out with a lucky find and, I assume, it ends happily ever after as this sort of film tends to do.
