Armando Alvarez (Will Ferrell) has lived and worked on his father's ranch in Mexico his entire life. As the ranch encounters financial difficulties, Armando's younger brother Raul (Diego Luna), shows up with his new fiancée, Sonia (Genesis Rodriguez). It seems that Raul's success as an international businessman means the ranch's troubles are over as he pledges to settle all debts his father has incurred. But when Armando falls for Sonia, and Raul's business dealings turn out to be less than legit, all hell breaks loose as they find themselves in a war with Mexico's most feared drug lord, the mighty Onza (Gael García Bernal).

Fright Night - Kid Cudi music video directed by Craig Gillespie

A nice tie-in music video from the director of Fright Night, Craig Gillespie has just come my way. it's for Kid Cudi’s new track No One Believes Me.

The video is set on the same street as the movie which hits UK cinemas September 2 and features at this year’s Frighfest.

Colin Farrell, Anton Yelchin, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and David Tennant star in Fright Night. Based on the 80s cult comedy-horror classic, it blends thrills, chills and humour into an all-new horror experience... Welcome to Fright Night!

High school senior Charlie Brewster (Anton Yelchin) finally has it all – he’s hanging with the cool crowd and dating the hottest girl in school, Amy (Imogen Poots). In fact, he’s so cool he’s even dissing his nerdy best friend Ed (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). But trouble arrives when an intriguing stranger, Jerry (Colin Farrell), moves in next door. He seems like a great guy at first, but there’s something not quite right – yet no one, not even Charley’s mom (Toni Collette), seems to notice! After witnessing some very unusual activity, Charley comes to an unmistakable and terrifying conclusion: Jerry is a vampire. With the help of infamous Las Vegas magician turned vampire-expert Peter Vincent (David Tennant), Charley sets out to uncover the truth and clean up the neighbourhood.

Chalo Dilli Music Launch

If you know anything about Bollywood music you know that the soundtrack is, sometimes, more important than the film itself.  In other news, the poster has also been released.

Eros International in association with Bheegi Basanti and Big Daddy Productions unveiled the music album of its forthcoming Chalo Dilli on the 5th of April 2011 at the very rustic Pritam Da Dhaba in Dadar, Mumbai.

The film features music by Gourov Dasgupta, Anand Raj Anand, Sachin Gupta and Rohit Kulkarni.

An entertaining, slice of life film that will have you laughing off your seats, Chalo Dilli directed by Shashant Shah of Dasvidaniya fame is a journey which along with the two protagonists showcases the real India with its colourful and funny people and their eccentricities.

Says producer Krishika Lulla “From situational songs to a fun dance number, each song in Chalo Dilli comes with their unique background, variety and versatility. All the songs have a great feel of movement to them keeping with the theme of the movie”

The uniquely themed launch saw great performances by the team including Raja Hassan, Sukhwinder Singh, Neeraj Shridhar and Kamal Heer .

The film brings together on screen for the first time one of the most beautiful women in India alongside one of the greatest comedians of the country-Lara Dutta and Vinay Pathak

This Summer rediscover the nation with the unlikeliest pair in Chalo Dilli coming to a cinema near you on April 29, 2010.

From Carlos to Punk - The Tron soundtrack

28 years ago a well respected electronic music pioneer was asked to do the original Tron soundtrack.  This is of course Wendy Carlos who is probably better known for the soundtracks of Clockwork Orange and The Shining.  Now fast forward to today, 2010, and a ground-breaking electronic music group is given the chance to write, and perform, the music for the sequel ... I give you Daft Punk and the below music video.

TRON: LEGACY is a high-tech 3D adventure set in a digital world unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), a rebellious 27-year-old, is haunted by the mysterious disappearance of his father Kevin Flynn (Oscar®-winner Jeff Bridges), a man once known as the world’s leading video-game developer. When Sam investigates a strange signal sent to the old Flynn’s Arcade – a signal that could only have come from his father – he finds himself pulled into a digital world where his father has been trapped for 20 years. With the help of a fearless warrior, Quorra (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-or-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe, created by Kevin himself, which has become far more advanced with never-before-imagined vehicles, weapons and landscapes, and a ruthless villain who will stop at nothing to prevent their escape
