Pacific Rim

In the run up to a Pacific Rim panel this Saturday, July 14, at Comic Con, we have the amazing new teaser poster for you. Not only that, I can also offer the strange teaser trailer as well.

With that out of the way, I have found a teaser trailer for the film. If you can make any sense out of it then please let me know in the comments below:

When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes—a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)—who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind’s last hope against the mounting apocalypse.

Abraham Lincoln gets covered in blood

We have seen quite a lot from this film over the last couple of months. This time Fox has sent over a new poster and a bloodthirsty "redband trailer" - so be careful when you watch it as there is a lot of blood and decapitation in it.

Visionary filmmakers Tim Burton (producer) and Timur Bekmambetov (director) present an original take on the United States’ 16th president and bring a fresh voice to the bloodthirsty lore of the vampire.

Lincoln's mother died when he was just nine, but the young boy didn't immediately learn the truth behind her death. Once he found out vampires were responsible, Lincoln did everything he could to avenge his mother's death, dedicating his life to putting an end to all bloodsuckers.

A Royal Affair

The most dramatic love story in Danish history is the affair between King Christian. VII's physician, Johan Struensee, and the English born queen of Denmark, Caroline Mathilda in the early 1770's. During the past 40 years, several screen adaptations of this emotional chapter in Danish history have been on the drawing board, but it isn’t until now, with Nikolaj Arcel’s A ROYAL AFFAIR, that a Danish feature film about one of the country’s most fascinating dramas reaches the silver screen

Joyful Noise

It's Sister Act without the habits. It's a church choir that's rubbish and then gets a new member... Do I need to go on about the rest of the plot. It does seem from the below trailer that it's by the numbers, like the lazy photoshoped poster. What is it with 2012 posters? Please design something good and interesting instead of just putting the principle actors together on a nice background!

To watch this video, you need the latest Flash-Player and active javascript in your browser.

Oscar® nominees Queen Latifah (“Chicago,” “Hairspray”) and Dolly Parton (“Transamerica,” “Steel Magnolias,” “Nine to Five”) star in Alcon Entertainment’s and Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Joyful Noise,” a funny and inspirational story of music, hope, love and renewal.

The small town of Pacashau, Georgia, has fallen on hard times, but the people are counting on the Divinity Church Choir to lift their spirits by winning the National Joyful Noise Competition.  The choir has always known how to sing in harmony, but the discord between its two leading ladies now threatens to tear them apart.  Their newly appointed director, Vi Rose Hill (Latifah), stubbornly wants to stick with their tried-and-true traditional style, while the fiery G.G. Sparrow (Parton) thinks tried-and-true translates to tired-and-old.

Shaking things up even more is the arrival of G.G.’s rebellious grandson, Randy (Jeremy Jordan).  Randy has an ear for music, but he also has an eye for Vi Rose’s beautiful and talented daughter, Olivia (Keke Palmer), and the sparks between the two teenagers are causing even more heat between G.G. and Vi Rose.

If these two strong-willed women can overcome their differences and find a common voice, they—and their choir—may make the most joyful noise of all.

Keith Lemon hits the big screen

WOW! I'm not sure what to make of this film. The first thing that sprang to mind is "Why?" Not since Fred The movie came out I have wondered how on earth such an annoying character gets a full length feature film. The only thing I can think of is it must be a tax break / fiddle for someone

KEITH LEMON THE FILM is a comedy about Keith following his dreams of becoming a successful entrepreneur, just like his hero Richard Branson. He comes to London from Leeds, becomes an overnight billionaire then an over day failure before finding the road to redemption.

Now I have your attention, I can tell you the great news from His Excellency, General Aladeen of Wadiya. The Dictatior has a new trailer! We have already seen a trailer and TV spot before. Now we are entertained with the first full trailer.

It goes into lot more detail than the short synopsis. it does look like a re-working of Coming To America with nob gags!

The film tells the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed. It is inspired by the best selling novel "Zabibah and The King" by Saddam Hussein.

Producing alongside Baron Cohen are Scott Rudin, Alec Berg, Jeff Schaffer, and David Mandel. The project marks the first collaboration for Rudin (“The Social Network,” “True Grit”) and Baron Cohen, while Berg, Schaffer and Mandel (Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm) join him as screenwriters on the movie. The movie is the latest collaboration between Baron Cohen and Charles, who previously worked together on “Borat” as well as “Bruno”. Dan Mazer (“Borat” “Bruno”), Ant Hines ("Borat" "Bruno") and Peter Baynham (“Borat”) will serve as executive producers, reuniting the rest of the Academy Award®-nominated and Golden Globe winning “Borat” team.
